Selecting a watercooled oil cooler is fairly straight forward. The information below is provided under the following assumptions regarding your compressed air or gas system. Operating temperature is equal to 185 F (85 C). Water temperature is equal to 85 F (29 C). There is a 5 F (3 C) rise through the aftercooler in series. 2:1 oil to water ratio.
